SOMOS EXPERIENCE, SOMOS INTEGRATION, SOMOS INNOVATION
what is clil?
CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) is a constantly evolving term that refers to teaching curricular content through English, the vehicular language, in order to achieve specific learning objectives. CLIL methodology allows you to reach those objectives, help pupils master the subject and, in our case, enable them to progressively build their English language skills.
SM Dayton is proud to offer courses that incorporate the fundamental principles of this methodology.

CLIL METHODOLOGY IN SAVIA
Savia uses the specific principles of CLIL methodology to help pupils learn subjects in English
LEARNING BY DOING
With Savia, your pupils will learn through experimentation and discovery.
Savia makes it possible for all your pupils to learn the curricular content and build their English language skills progressively by offering diverse strategies and multiple resources.
Savia features activities that encourage pupils to learn through advanced critical thinking.
INNOVATIVE METHODSSavia offers innovative teaching programmes that can be integrated naturally into regular class periods and beyond, to the extent that you and your school desire: Cooperative Learning, Multiple Intelligences and Learning to Think.
The course takes different learning styles and paces into account. Savia offers specific suggestions for working with mixed-ability classes in every unit.
Values are central to culture, one of the pillars of CLIL, and therefore play a key role in Savia. They are systematically integrated into crosscurricular activities throughout the Pupil’s book.
We have been providing educational products and services for over sixty years.
The vehicular language, British English, is integrated into Savia with the utmost attention to linguistic quality.
Savia incorporates programmes that help you use innovative teaching methods. What’s more, this plurilingual course is based on the principles of CLIL methodology.
